The physiographic and cultural landscapes of South Asia, Oceania, America, and Saharan Africa are explored using systematic geographic concepts. The course provides the necessary geographic foundations to build an informed view of global current events. Recent trends in globalism and multiculturalism are also explored. Critical-thinking is stressed; the student will need to master factual information and concepts, and apply these to analyzing regional landscapes and understanding current world events.
